Monterey Bay Aquarium Juvenile White Shark Tag Recovery, Mulegue, Baja, California

For the second time, Oceans Aloft flew researchers from the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Tagging of Pacific Predators Program deep into Mexico to recover a satellite PAT tag that popped off a juvenile White Shark. After being on exhibit for several months, the deaccessed exhibit shark was released in Monterey Bay and swam over a thousand miles to the center of the Sea of Cortez. CBS affiliated KFMB News 8 journalist Natasha Stenbock traveled 52 miles offshore Mulegue, Baja to the center of the Sea of Cortez with the crew and Oceans Aloft filmed the expedition in High Definition.
